Early Childhood Sign up for Level 1 union training

Do you want to help build the strength of the AEU in a vitally important year in which we face both a state and federal election? Are you already committed to taking on an early childhood leadership role within the union? Are you passionate about creating change locally?

The Level 1 training program is designed to support leading members with the skills they will need to operate successfully within the AEU. It will guide you through the important processes behind how to create effective local structures. It also aims to strengthen your skills and knowledge as an AEU activist and provides you with the opportunity to plan union activities within your local area. It will support you to help the union make its mark in this momentous year.

And remember, any members employed under the VECTEA or EEEA, as well as some local council EBAs, have a clear entitlement to access up to five days per year of union training. The AEU will cover the back-fill costs incurred.

This training will be delivered in Terms 2, 3 and 4. If you’re interested in signing up or finding out more information about the program, including upcoming dates, you can contact our EC organiser Max Grarock at [email protected].
